What I learned…

It’s that time of the week again.  Jo-Lynne over at Musings wants to know what everyone learned this week.

I learned that spending time with my husband doing fun things rather than the normal, run of the mill, house maintenance stuff makes me like him even more.  We spent Saturday driving to Sacramento and back (about 3 hours one way) as a family.  It was relaxing.  The kids were good.  The mountains were beautiful even without enough snow on them.  It nice to just “be” together.  Life is usually fairly chaotic and we don’t seem to be able to make the time away from computers and jobs to really spend time together.  I’m so glad we got the chance last weekend.

This is wonderful and so true. We get so busy with our busy, we forget how much fun we can have together! Love it! Great Post!

  3. Sounds like a great weekend. We did a mini getaway too and it was so nice to enjoy each other without any distractions.

  5. A good lesson to learn–to get away and just enjoy being together.
